THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
As a Tax Accountant at NDI, you will support our corporate tax compliance and reporting efforts, ensuring accurate and timely filings in alignment with evolving tax regulations. In this role, you will contribute to strong financial governance and play a key part in supporting our global operations through effective tax practices.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Support global indirect tax compliance (GST/HST, VAT, and sales tax), including monthly filings and reconciliations.
- Coordinate and support the preparation and filing of annual Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax claims.
- Contribute to global tax initiatives and process improvements.
- Assist with global transfer pricing activities, including documentation and calculation of monthly charges.
- Act as a resource for tax-related matters across the organization.
- Coordinate the annual filing of corporate tax returns in partnership with external tax advisors.
- Prepare tax provisions and support related financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential impacts to the business.
- Provide support for banking and credit card processes, as required.
- Contribute to broader tax and finance initiatives as the role evolves, supporting ongoing learning and development.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- 4 years of relevant experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a similar business environment.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- CPA designation (or in progress) is preferred.
- Experience with indirect taxes (GST/HST) and exposure to U.S. or international tax is preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
