THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:
As a Tax Analyst at NDI, you will contribute to our corporate tax compliance and reporting efforts, helping ensure accurate, timely filings and alignment with evolving tax regulations. In this role, you’ll support strong financial governance and play a key part in enabling our global operations through effective tax practices.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
• Coordinate the annual filing of corporate tax returns in partnership with external tax advisors.
• Coordinate the preparation and filing of annual SR&ED tax claims.
• Assist with global indirect tax compliance (GST/HST, VAT, and sales tax), including monthly filings and reconciliations.
• Prepare tax provisions and contribute to related financial reporting requirements.
• Assist in the review and maintenance of global transfer pricing arrangements, including contemporaneous documentation.
• Calculate and support monthly global transfer pricing charges.
• Act as a subject matter resource for tax-related matters across the organization.
• Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential impacts to the business.
• Support banking and credit card functions, as needed based on workload and skillset.
• Contribute to additional tax and finance-related responsibilities as the role evolves.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a similar business environment.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• CPA designation (or in progress) is preferred.
• Experience with indirect taxes (GST/HST) and exposure to U.S. or international tax is preferred.
