The Opportunity: You won’t be a siloed cog in a wheel here. As a Back-End Platform Developer on our Core team, you are building the engine that powers our mission. We are past the MVP phase and entering a period of enormous growth.

We expect you to bring deep backend expertise, but we also want someone who embraces AI coding tools to accelerate boilerplate tasks so you can focus your human brainpower on what matters: solving complex, high-stakes data problems involving medical imaging and creating a robust platform that empowers our Web and App developers.

What You’ll Be Building:

• Scalable Architecture: Design and maintain robust back-end services that support our internal operations, data pipelines, and frontend applications.
• Cross-Functional Fluidity: Collaborate closely with our App, Web, and DevOps developers, acting as a force multiplier and helping to bridge the gap between frontend needs and backend realities.
• Data Integrity: Build secure APIs and storage solutions for sensitive, high-fidelity medical data.
• Quality & Automation: Partner with our QA lead to champion AI-assisted automated testing, self-healing pipelines, and bulletproof debugging standards.
• Innovation: Collaborate with the imaging team to integrate Computer Vision and GPU-accelerated processing into our pipeline.

The Toolkit You Bring:

• The Experience: 4+ years in Back-End Development. You’ve seen scale, you know what breaks, and you know how to fix it.
• The Core: Deep proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and comfort with messaging buses and centralized logging.
• The AI Mindset: You actively use (or are eager to adopt) AI coding assistants to increase your throughput and aren't afraid to step outside your backend silo to unblock a teammate.
• The Data: You know your way around NoSQL (MongoDB) and know how to model data for performance.
• The Cloud: Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
• The Bonus: If you have touched Medical Imaging, OpenCV, or GPU computing (CUDA/TensorFlow), you definitely need to apply.
