Position Overview:
We are looking for a Research Software Developer with an engineering background in image/signal
processing to join our dynamic team, helping us build solutions that are at the forefront of image analysis
technology. As a global leader in the field, we are driven by a passion for revolutionizing healthcare and
improving patient outcomes.
Experience in advanced image processing and analysis would be considered a strong asset. The ideal
candidate would have professional experience in software development and be proficient in C++ and
Python.
General Responsibilities:
- Research and develop advanced image processing algorithms for medical image analysis.
- Design and implement automated product workflows that integrate image processing algorithms
to solve challenging problems across a variety of domains. - Collaborate with engineering, product management, and scientific/medical advisors, to design and
build high-quality medical image analysis solutions with the ability to deploy as enterprise
software. - Collaborate with regulatory and quality assurance teams to design and execute validation
strategies, supporting regulatory clearance for research products.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience in image processing design and development.
- Strong programming proficiency in C++ (or other object-oriented languages) and Python.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced development environments, quickly acquiring and applying the knowledge and skills required to build safe and effective health technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Beneficial Skills/Experience:
- Experience with medical imaging software and DICOM images.
- Expertise in: Qt, OpenGL, OpenCV, 3D mathematics (matrix and vector operations).
- Proficiency across multiple platforms (Windows, MacOS, Linux).
Educational Requirements:
- Masters or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative/applied field.
